The virtual Extraordinary Congress of the European Flying Disc Federation (EFDF) is scheduled for Wednesday, 17 November 2021, at 20:00 hrs CET.
Flying disc sports are returning to the fields in Europe, which is an excellent news for all of us. Despite the pandemic, flying-disc disciplines are still developing, and we might have some great opportunities with potential participation of our disciplines in some multi-sport events. EFDF is a key element to support our applications for participation in those events.
After the Extraordinary Congress in December 2020, a task-force was constituted to work on EFDF statutes, with the participation of Simon Hill (UKU CEO / GBR), Volker Schlechter (DFV president / GER), Felix Nemec (EUF representative / AUT), Richard Kollar (EDGF president / SVK) and Haude Hermand as EFDF president. After several exchanges with the EFDF interim board, a final version was sent to WFDF for approval beginning of October. The proposed statutes will now be submited to EFDF Congress for approval.
The purpose of this Congress is to vote on the EFDF statutes. The agenda will be as follow :
1) Welcome by the EFDF president
2) Introduction of EFDF statutes proposal by the EFDF president
3) Vote on the proposed statutes
4) Following steps
5) Closing of the meeting
